Sue is a local girl from Idaho Falls, Idaho.  She started her guiding career in 1995 at Wapiti River Guides in Riggins, Idaho.  For three years, she ran whitewater trips in both drift boats and rafts, making her one the most experienced oarsmen on the river.  She has worked on a number of waterways including the Lower Salmon River, Hells Canyon of the Snake River, the Owyhee River, and the Grand Rhonde.  In 1998 she decided to shift gears and focus her attention on fly fishing, taking a job with Drifters on the South Fork.  In June of 2002 she began working for South Fork Outfitters.  Her reputation precedes her, and while she is an extremely versatile fisherman, known to many as a dry fly specialist.  She is a fierce competitor, often finishing high in the rankings in the Jackson Hole One Fly.  In fact, during 2004 she posted the big fish, and in 2006 she won “top guide” in that contest.  Sue is married to Brett Novik another Worldcast guide.  In addition to guiding on The South Fork, the two of them spent more than fifteen  years running Ofishaly Hooked Charters, a successful  flats fishing operation for Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and Redfish  based in both Louisiana and the Lower Florida Keys.
