Though he grew up in New York State, sixteen years ago Brett moved to Swan Valley, Idaho to pursue a career in fly fishing.  During the past sixteen years, he has done it all.  He has established himself as one of the South Fork’s foremost guides, he has worked as a fly rep, launched a salt water charter business, Ofishaly Hooked Charters, become a certified Coast Guard Captain, guided the flats in the Florida Keys for Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit and guided for Redfish in the vast marshes of Louisiana. In addition, Brett has traveled to many exotic locals around the globe in chasing a variety of game fish. He has been featured as a guide on both ESPN2’s In Search of Fly Water and Adventure Guides on Versus.  As a Head Guide, Brett has taken great pride in his craft and strives to push other guides to reach new levels of perfection and professionalism.
