I grew up in Redding, California, learning to fly fish on the Sactamento river right in town. I began exploring all of the local waters including the Trinity, McCloud, Pit and many of the coastal rivers Bigfoot country has to offer. I worked with The Fly Shop for a few years, working both in the store and with their fishing schools, Fish Camps and Spey clinics. After making the gas guzzling trip to the Bend and Maupin area several times chasing Lower Deschutes Steelhead I decided to make the move and a few weeks later started calling Bend home.

I have been sharing my Fly Fishing passion for the better part of a decade, getting great satisfaction from teaching and guiding others. I enjoy all facets of this sport but fly tying, Spey casting and swinging flies for Steelhead monopolize most of my time.
