Catching my first fish on the fly, a sea run cutthroat, at the mouth of a small stream on Washington's Olympic Peninsula,  began a life long obsession with pursuing salt water game fish...with both feet on terra firma whenever possible.  Inevitably, my sights turned to warmer water and exotic species.  In 1995 I packed up my old Toyota truck and drove south until I ran out of land.  Fishing Southern Baja quickly became the focus of my life. By 2000 I was guiding fly anglers at the East Cape and before long I was a full time resident of Mexico. I was deep into an obsession that dominates my fishing to this day...hunting roosterfish from shore with the fly.
