Fly fishing has been a passion and lifestyle for me since the age of 12. I started in the fishing business in 2002 as an instructor and sales person for the Silver Bow Fly Shop, Spokane's oldest fly shop. Just a couple years later I worked my way up to managing the fly shop, and in 2005 I got an opportunity to purchase the business, I was 23 years old at the time. I enjoy continuing to grow the business and have a built a guide service based on our fisheries of the Inland Northwest.
Often you can find me in the shop or teaching fly fishing lessons, and you will definitely see me on the water on my days off. I enjoy all aspects of fly fishing from trout fishing in rivers, to steelhead with Spey rods, and tropical saltwater fishing. One of the greatest parts of the sport to me is all the amazing places it can take you. I have spent time in Alaska, Bahamas, Belize, BC, and all over the West in pursuit of different species. Fly fishing never gets boring and you can always learn something new every time out.
