Originally from New England, Sean Sullivan – ‘Sully’ has always made sports a priority in his life. He was introduced to the art of fly-fishing in Sun Valley, ID, his home for the past 15 years. Like his fish, he quickly got hooked in this sport which he has chosen to make not only his life-style but his career.
 

Hungry for knowledge and fully dedicated in constantly expanding his skills, Sully can be spotted on Idaho’s rivers and streams year round studying its waters and guiding all generations for the premier Silver Creek Outfitters.

Sully is a Certified Casting Instructor with Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) as well as a Member of Trout Unlimited and is very passionate about teaching the nuances of casting fly rods on and off the water. He loves guiding the famous Silver Creek with its prolific “hatches” or charging rapids on the Salmon River on his RO drift boat, or some of the remote local freestone rivers and tailwaters of the Big Lost River.
 

Being from a military family, Sully is grateful to be involved in assisting veterans with fly-fishing. He is honored to work with Higher Ground, a nationally recognized veteran rehabilitation program that combines sports, family and coping therapies to restore and rehabilitate men and women of the armed forces who have been wounded while in service.

Sully’s fly-rods of choice are the Scott –GS 884 for the spring creek of Silver Creek and the Scott Radian four and five weights for everything else.
