Scott Pros

Mike is always sharing information, and the knowledge that makes him so passionate about fly fishing.
The "feel" of Scott rods is what makes them; I think they are the finest fly rods out there.
In the little town of Onalaska Washington just a few short miles from the Cowlitz River I have a little shop called Lost Creek Fly Shop, & Mike Sturza’s Fly fishing Guide Service. We fly fish year around! Weather permitting.
What I really enjoy is the seeing the expression on the clients face when that first steelhead takes the fly, and cartwheels out of the water, or when they have hooked their 10th sea run cutthroat of the evening!
The best thing about Scott Fly Rods is no matter where we are fishing they have a rod for any of the applications I need. When I’m swinging for steelhead the T2H and L2H spey rods do the job very well, and when the highland lakes open, and the tiger muskies get active, and the sea run cutthroat come in the S4, G2,and the A4s do the job! Because of this, I’m proud to sell Scott Rods in my fly shop and use them on my guided trips.
My favorite rods are the T2H 12’6” 6wt, S4 9’6” 6wt, Muskie Special 9wt and the G2 9’ 6wt.
