Jason Dapra
United States, New Jersey, Lincroft

Capt Jason Dapra has been fly fishing for over 25 years and guiding for the
last 10. His guide service, BlitzBound Charters, is based on the New Jersey
Shore and Montauk, NY.
During the spring and early summer, you will find Capt Jason running his 23'
Jones Brothers out of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Capt Jason believes that there
is no better area than the NJ Shore in the spring to catch a trophy striper
on the fly- he has had 2 clients catch fish over 40 pounds on the fly and
countless stripers over 30 pounds. During the fall, you will find him in
Montauk, New York, pursuing false albacore, bluefish and striped bass...
Montauk's fall run is legendary- the huge blitzes and feeding frenzies have
to be seen to be believed.
Jason is extremely passionate about not only the sport of fly fishing, but
also the "lifestyle" that comes along with it. Fly fishing is not just about
catching fish- it's about enjoying the beautiful places the fish we pursue
live in, the camaraderie with fellow fly anglers and, most importantly, the
fun of it all- fishing, hanging out at the bar/campfire talking about
fishing... It's all good!
If you don't see Jason on the ocean, there is a good bet he will be trout
fishing on the Delaware River with a G2 905.
