Captain Fornabio fishes Florida's East Coast from Sebastian Inlet, northeast of Miami, and draws on a strong background in saltwater fishing as he pursues the tremendous variety of gamefish in this region. For the last seven years Charlie has worked Florida's flats as a fly fishing guide, but he has also spent 20 years working charter boats in New Jersey, Florida and the Bahamas.
Charlie lives and fishes in that magical zone where the species of the southern U.S. are found in common with the species of the Caribbean. On a daily basis he may encounter snook, tarpon, redfish, barracuda, sea trout, cobia, ladyfish, and others. Species diversity of this nature occurs only one place on earth: southern Florida.
Charlie has fished the Indian River, Sebastian Inlet, and the Sebastian River since 1991, and now guides these waters twelve months a year.
